Engagement announcements should be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the wedding date. If more announcements are received than space permits, as many will be printed as possible, with others appearing in a future edition of The Messenger.

All articles will be edited to conform to newspaper style.

Color photographs are preferred.

Every announcement submitted must include a contact name and day-time phone number.

Include town and state on all address information.

Include the following:

1. The full name of prospective bride and her city and state.
2. The full name of prospective groom and his city and state.
3. The full names of prospective bride's parents and their city and state. Indicate wether they should be listed separately.
4. The full names of prospective groom's parents and their city and state. Indicate wether they should be listed separately.
5. Include exact wedding date.
6. Prospective bride's schooling and employment.
7. Prospective groom's schooling and employment.
